Early Life Edit

Born somewhere in Wales in 982, Merlin attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 993 to 1000 under such teachers as Salazar Slytherin, Arcturus, Violeta Trask, Zetheron and Elias Gamp. During his time there he made a rivalry with fellow classmate Morgana. He also found the old transcripts of Helga Usborne's notes on potions which are still used today.

Court of King Arthur Edit

After graduating, it is said he looked after King Arthur and continued his battles with Morgana who is Arthur's cousin. However, this is historically inaccurate as Arthur lived during the 5th and 6th Centuries so many Wizards think that Merlin used a Time-Turner.

Hermit Edit

Once Merlin turned 100 in 1082 he retired to caves and abandoned castles in Wales where he continued his work on Potions, Charms, Herbology, and Magizoology. He also continued his work on Muggle rights as an activist and founded the Order of Merlin to help them, although this is now an award given by the Ministry.

Death Edit

In 1124 Merlin died in his cave in Wales of unknown circumstance but before he did he created a Dungeon for his soul to be kept within. The dungeon is located in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was opened in 2019 by Albus Potter, about 695 years later. It is so he can carry on protecting Muggles and fight the return of Morgana. The Wand of Merlin was lost after his death and never found.
